Thank you for having me on your wonderful blog.

This book tour is featuring your Beyond the Eyes trilogy. Can you tell us a bit about it?
It’s about a heartsick teenage girl named Paige Reed, who turns into a kickass fighter against evil.  She’s been receiving premonitions from a ghostly voice since the age of four and is destined to protect humanity against the dark spirits dwelling inside soulless humans. This trilogy is packed full of romance, heartache, magic, mystery, suspense, friendship, love triangles, and a dash of spookiness thrown in the mix.

Where did you get the idea for the series?
The concept came to me one day, then exploded from there.

What is the hardest part about writing?
I think writing the first chapter and plotting everything out is the hardest thing about writing.


The first or the last sentece, which is harder to write?
The first sentence.

How do you handle negative feedback or reviews?
I read all the outstanding reviews I've received and wonderful comments from other readers about my books. Doing those things takes the sting of a bad review away.

What or who inspire you to write?
Reading other stories or watching a TV show or movie sometimes inspires me to write.


Is there anything you *need* to have when you write?
Back support. The chair I have sucks, so for now I roll up a towel and stick it behind my back, which forces me to sit up straight.

What can someone learn by looking at your bookshelves?
Good question. Learn about me, right? Um . . . I'm open-minded, I love the classic books, philosophy, theology, history, and the paranormal world.

How would you describe a perfect day?
It's cloudy, rainy, and cool outside. I'm in my sweats. I have nowhere to be, no deadlines, the house is clean, it's all good. My husband is home and something yummy is cooking or baking in the oven. I have a cup of coffee and reading a good book. Later on I watch a fantastic movie with my husband, and we have a variety of finger foods spread out on the coffee table. Afterwards, or maybe before we watch our movie, I write my story for a while and everything is flowing together. I'm in the "zone."

Tell us five random facts about yourself!
On the back of my right shoulder I have a small tattoo of a Chinese symbol that means "truth." I can't have kids, I have a wonderful marriage, I don't like the city, and I'm very loyal.

ABOUT REBEKKAH
Rebekkah Ford grew up in a family that dealt with the paranormal. Her parents’ Charles and Geri Wilhelm were the directors of the UFO Investigator’s League in Fairfield, Ohio, back in the 1970s. They also investigated ghost hauntings and Bigfoot sightings in addition to UFO’s. Growing up in this type of environment and having the passion for writing is what drove Rebekkah at an early age to write stories dealing with the paranormal. Her fascination with the unknown is what led her to write the Beyond the Eyes trilogy.
